Oh hey there! I’m Claudia Espinoza-Farfan
I go by my design Alter-Ego ‘lil C racha’ as I add my own ‘little kick’ towards my creative endeavours. I would categorise myself as a freelance creative, within my final semester of University (woo hoo!)
At Swinburne, I study Graphic Design with a Major in Photo media, so I have a knack for creative direction & photography, as I would describe as my ‘bread & butter’.
In terms of professional experience I’ve done some advertising posters for Lovey Patisserie Cafe, which I currently work Part-Time as the Doncaster stores Supervisor.

Photography
my work
Creatively directed portraits taken in studio. Playing with Harsh lighting to depict a ‘femme fatale’ insect, inspired by Thierry Mugler SS 1997. In contrast with soft lighting, an incorporation of flowers, playing with a hypnotic effect.
Photography & Publication
A few layouts collected from a project focusing on the myth of the ‘Banshee’. Using creative directed photographs personally taken in studio and on location. Then carefully curated into an art book layout.
Branding
A reinterpretation of the Doctor Martens branding. Taking direct inspiration of its German roots and witty response of having to ‘break into your docs’, with the name Hél Breaker (Heel breaker). Also focusing more on the stamp it had made as part of Punk culture in the 1970s.
Advertising
A personal creative project on how I would approach a ‘Platypus Shoes’ advertisement campaign. Focusing on Timberlands with it’s urban market, Vans with it’s new interpretation of an old classic and Doctor Martens with it’s market for the alternative.
Recent Client Work
Creating a joint banner that can be used individually that represents Lovey Patisserie and X-Playground as a joint business. Taking inspiration from the more popular products that they sell to create a cohesive yet individualistic, branding collateral.
